Experience

During law school Ms. Nassiri clerked at the District Attorney’s office where she learned invaluable lessons of law and motion and how to try a case. Thereafter, she also clerked at a prominent medical malpractice firm in Orange County, Horton, Barbaro & Reilly.

After obtaining her Juris Doctorate degree, Ms. Nassiri continued working in the medical malpractice field for several years at Horton, Barbaro & Reilly. She then went onto working on the side of medical malpractice defense. Ms. Nassiri has also worked for CAP-MPT a medical malpractice physician’s insurance company.

Ms. Nassiri currently is a partner at Chiang, Nassiri & Hirota representing clients in business litigation matters, real estate issues, collection matters, construction defect disputes, as well as clients who have suffered serious personal injury. She also serves as outside counsel for DKI Restotech, a restoration and construction company.

Ms. Nassiri has over 10 years of civil litigation experience in the areas of medical malpractice, serious personal injury, products liability, business, real estate, collection, and construction defect. She has also authored a number of successful appellate briefs.

 

Adversary Proceedings

 

While in law school Ms. Nassiri competed in the National Appellate Advocacy Competition and won for best appellate brief as well as for best oral arguments. Also, while clerking at the District Attorney’s office she assisted the District Attorneys both in preparing for trial as well as assisting in trial.

During her years at Horton, Barbaro & Reilly Ms. Nassiri worked in the law and motion department and routinely argued law and motion in court. She also served as second chair in a number of medical malpractice trials.
